Bought this marker as a back-up for rec ball, or for my teenage son's friends to play. I was able to pick up a spyder threaded smart parts 14" inline barrel for 15 bucks and a 48/3000 steelie for another 40. if you are going to get this gun you should get the rampage board and a longer barrel i have the jj 14 inch ceramic barrel and its much better

This is a good entry level marker but there is in my opinion a better one out there. The tippmann gryphon cost just 10 dollars more but has a greater effective range and a lot better accuracy then this gun. Also since it is made by tippmann the gryphon was approved in there test of reliability of being able to shoot at least 200,000 paintballs with out any problems. The only cons of the gryphon is that the bps is a little lower and you cannot upgrade it anything like the piranha. Overall if y...

this is a great starter marker but it will need a longer barrel and if you buy it and like it i think you should get the rampage board.
